This suite of NOS covers a variety of functions including those carried out at a scene of incident and in a forensic laboratory. The standards developed outline competencies for developing a forensic strategy, providing forensic services at scenes of incident, conducting examinations of forensic materials and reporting the outcomes of forensic examinations.

There are currently 44 National Occupational Standards within this suite.
